The district volunteer staff is in the process of building a website to better serve our units.

Our Mission

It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Furthermore, it is the vision of the Coastal Carolina Council that every youth in the Lowcountry who desires to be a Scout have access to a quality Scouting program in their community.

For more information about Scouting in the Lowcountry of South Carolina

please visit the Coastal Carolina Council’s main website.

This site is NOT an official site of the BSA, Coastal Carolina Council or the Etiwan District. This site is created by volunteers for parents and scouters interested in the programs and services of the Etiwan District.

"Every boy who goes through Scouting leaves with more than he came with."

-- G. Clark, former Scoutmaster
